We spoke with Chris Bowser today about his plans to start a nonprofit organization to help wounded vets meet meet their favorite celebrities.... Check it out, it's pretty cool.  We will keep you posted on this progress.

Heroes Meeting Heroes

After the grenade attack, I have realized that I can turn this "bad" situation, into a "great" situation. I have been reaching out to a bunch of my favorite people (celebs, musicians, etc). I have had an amazing response rate. I have met the likes of....

Dane Cook (Comedian), Tim Reynolds (of TR3 and frequently plays with Dave Matthews), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, The Nightwatchman), Nashville Pussy (rock band), Joel McHale (host of The Soup, on E! and stand up comedian), Jim Gaffigan (comedian), Avenged Sevenfold (rock band).

Chuck Norris, Snoop Dogg, Zakk Wylde, and others also have expressed interest in meeting up with me.

Well after a suggestion from someone very close to me, I have decided to take this "gift" I have of meeting people I admire, and branch out to help out other vets. I've decided upon Hereos Meeting Heroes as the name of the Non Profit I'd like to get going.

My goal of this NPO, would be to allow other wounded soldiers the opportunity to get to meet some of their heroes. I think that I have realized the potential for celebrities to participate in something that doesn't really require alot from the celeb, yet will mean so much to their fans.
