Godspeed Charlie Company - by John Michael

I do not live close to a military facility or have a lovedone servicing our country, so it is blogs that I look to for insight andstories of what is really going on out there. I need to better understand what some of the things  our soldiers, their families and people aroundthem are going through during this time of war. I could spend hours reading blogs about this group of people, some makeme cry and some make me laugh.  That isthe beauty of the English language and this thing we call the world wideweb.  I read a blog a few days ago thathas been on my mind.. . I like those kind, the ones that make you think.  So I thought I would share this site with youin hopes that you too will enjoy the words and pictures of John Michael.  This particular entry is about the Charlie Company of the Old Army Guard’s Deployment Ceremony, August 25 2009.  In John’s closing sentence he asks all of usto keep these soldiers in our thoughts and pray for a Godspeed return home totheir family and friends.

I will do that John –thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts with your viewers.
